Our hospitality consultant has operated 95 licensed venues in a career spanning 45 years. We can supply, at short notice, senior operations managers on a short term basis in any geographic region in Australia.

C&D Restructure and Taxation Advisory Office Yeronga

In 2018, the C&D Restructure and Taxation Advisory head office made the move to a beautiful new office space in leafy Yeronga, Brisbane. Our Brisbane office is comfortably equipped for meetings and consultations, with the added benefit of our neighbouring caffeine dispensary, Evo Espresso.

In addition to our Brisbane headquarters, C&D has offices in Sydney, Geelong and Melbourne. We’ve also traveled to complete a number of significant projects in rural Australia, with a focus on hospitality and accommodation in rural and regional towns. Our head consultants travel often and are always willing to hit the road to meet clients wherever they’re most comfortable.

Our Team

Craig DangarCraig Square

Craig is the principal consultant of C&D Restructure and Taxation Advisory and has been working in the industry since 1999. Having established C&D Commercial Partners in 2015, the precursor to the current business.

Craig brings a wealth of experience in taxation and restructuring, working closely with business owners, taking on a hands on approach to strategic management. Solutions and results driven, the influence on the business shows, as his team is responsive and direct, finding practical outcomes that others may not see.

Craig holds advisory roles in logistics, human resources and training, accounting firms and legal practices. Businesses respect his candor and commercial approach to problem solving.

With four Bachelor degrees in Arts, Business, Taxation and Law and three Master degrees in Taxation, Dispute Resolution and Financial Planning, his academic skills rise above his peers. Craig is finalising a Masters in Commerce and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice over the next few years.

Kevin Carmody

Kevin Carmody has a long history in the hospitality and accommodation industry, owning and operating motels from southern Victoria to Northern Queensland and everywhere in between.

A skilled operator, Kevin has seen the ups and downs in the industry and has a keen eye for market trends, being one of the first to move to online booking systems, adopting technology and moving ahead of the market, even in difficult market conditions. His operations have always been the market leader in each geographic location, with a focus on customer experience.

After selling up, Kevin has focused on interim management opportunities and has recently taken the step to work in restructuring and commercial consulting, bringing his 45 years of experience to the team at C&D.

Kevin is based in Geelong, regularly travelling to Brisbane, Sydney and to meet clients remotely.

Nick CooperNick Square

Nick commenced with the original C&D business and has worked with the team since 2015. Nick is currently a consultant specialising in restructuring.

Nick has worked extensively in family businesses for the last ten years and has developed a hands on approach to day to day management. His most recent has involved working in a rural industry business that has thrived in a highly competitive market. Nick has been involved in all facets of the running of the business.

In his final semester of Law, Nick has been a long term student, developing a keen academic record that reflects a passion for learning.

Nick has developed into a savvy consultant, with a practical and commercial view to transactions, working closely with strategic partners to give high level commercial advice.
